The God called Perseverence

Around the year 1997, assisted a popular local art director without pay for two consecutive years, in a hope to learn some basics of Art, while doing odd jobs to pay off for the daily bread and butter. That's where I grasped the essence of detailing in colour. During the two year tenure, spent effort preparing huge publicity posters and stage backdrops for the legendary Marathi play, 'Jaanata Raja'. Being the only assistant to the main art director, worked in mutliple shifts to met deadlines.
'
Blessings come in strange disguises. This seemingly wayward stint in self-fulfilment provided me with leads to formal education in Art. For the first time in my life, I discovered the existence of a more methodical approach to learning Art - a Foundation Course at the Ajanta College near Jalgaon.
